KLM Cityhopper flight KL-1345 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on May 20th.
The plane took off for Billund, Denmark, but had to turn back after the crew noticed an issue with the hydraulic stabilizer system.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Why: On landing in Amsterdam, one of the plane’s four engines developed a problem and was shut down. The flight made a safe landing in Amsterdam on three engines. A replacement engine was flown in to Amsterdam to repair the plane.

JetBlue flight 429 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Sioux Falls Regional Airport, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on August 11th.
The aircraft carrying 151 people from Massachusetts to Sacramento, California, was mid-air when it encountered severe turbulence, prompting the plane to divert.
The plane landed uneventfully.
At least 20 passengers sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to hospital.
Aurora Airlines flight HZ-209 had to return for an emergency landing in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia, on December 19th.
The plane took off for Blagoveshchensk, Russia, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew received an open door indication.
The plane landed back safely. All 50 passengers and 4 crew members remained unharmed.
