Turkish Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Germany

Turkish Airlines flight TK-1523 made an emergency landing in Dusseldorf, Germany, on January 16th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane flying from Istanbul, Turkey, was descending toward Dusseldorf when the crew reported possible issues with the nose gear.

The plane landed safely and was towed off the runway.

All one hundred and seventy-five people aboard remained unharmed.

Turkish Airlines Plane Diverts to Sudan After Bomb Scare

Turkish Airlines flight 606 had to make an emergency landing at Khartoum International Airport, Sudan, on November 30th.

The plane heading from Nairobi, Kenya, to Cairo, Egypt, was diverted after a passenger reported a bomb threat.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

It is believed that the bomb scare was caused due to an on-board wi-fi network called “bomb on board”.

Turkish Airlines Flight Returns to Tehran due to Engine Issue

Turkish Airlines flight TK-875 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Iran, on October 16th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Istanbul, Turkey, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
