China Eastern Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Nanchang

China Eastern Airlines flight MU-5257 made an emergency landing in Nanchang, China, on December 4th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane heading from Qingdao to Guangzhou, China, was diverted after the passenger oxygen masks were automatically deployed, without any indication of a cabin pressure problem.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Sichuan Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in China

Sichuan Airlines flight 3U-8633 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Chengdu, China, on May 14th.

The Airbus A319-100 plane heading from Chongqing to Lhasa, China, was diverted after the right-hand windshield completely shattered, partially pulling the co-pilot out of the cockpit.

The plane landed safely.

The airline said the co-pilot received skin abrasions and another crew member sustained a waist injury.

Cathay Pacific Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific flight CX-899 made an emergency landing in Hong Kong, China, on February 10th.

The Airbus A350-900 plane flying from Newark, New Jersey, was on approach to Hong Kong when the crew reported an issue with nose wheel steering.

The plane subsequently landed safely and was towed to the gate.

All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
