Man Hit and Killed by Boeing 737-800 Plane Taking Off From Sheremetyevo International Airport

A man was hit and killed by a Boeing 737-800 plane at Sheremetyevo International Airport, Russia, on November 20th.

The incident happened when Aeroflot flight SU-2112 was taking off for Athens, Greece.

It is believed that the deceased was a 25 year- old man flying from Spain to Armenia. He had a connecting flight in Moscow where he somehow entered the runway instead of boarding the next plane.

An investigation into the incident is underway.

Envoy Air Flight Rejects Takeoff From DFW Airport

Envoy Air flight MQ-3956 had to reject takeoff from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, on November 6th.

The plane was accelerating to takeoff for Lake Charles, Louisiana, when it hit an object on the runway, prompting the crew to reject takeoff.

The plane safely vacated the runway. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Eurowings flight EW-6814 had to return and make an emergency landing at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain, on September 10th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Nuremberg, Germany, but had to turn back due to a suspected bird strike.

The plane landed back safely.

Inspection crew later discovered that the engine had ingested a hare, which caused engine issues consistent with a bird strike.

The Airbus A320-200N plane was accelerating to takeoff for Mumbai, India, when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed due to a dog strike.

Several tires deflated and the plane became disabled.

All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Hits Coyote at Wilmington International Airport

American Airlines flight AA-5224 returned to Wilmington International Airport, North Carolina, on October 9th.

According to the airport authorities, the Canadair CRJ-900 plane hit a coyote during takeoff which caused damage to the nose gear. The crew continued takeoff but subsequently returned to Wilmington Airport.

The coyote was killed.

Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Sunwest Aviation Plane Collides with Deer Upon Landing in Northern Alberta

Sunwest Aviation flight CNK-7123 collided with two deer upon landing at Christina Lake Airstrip, located east of Conklin, Alberta, Canada, on October 3rd.

The incident happened when the plane was coming from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The plane sustained minor damage.

There were forty-three passengers and four crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
