Eurowings Plane Suffers Lightning Strike in Spain

Eurowings flight EW-9571 suffered a lightning strike while climbing out of Jerez Airport, Spain, on November 18th.

The incident happened when the plane was heading to Dusseldorf, Germany.

The plane continued to Dusseldorf for a safe landing. All one hundred and sixteen passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

LATAM Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Spain

LATAM flight LA-8062 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Las Palmas, Spain, on September 24th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Sao Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport, Brazil, to Milan–Malpensa Airport, Italy, was diverted due to electrical problems.
