Porter Airlines flight PD-122 made an emergency landing at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, Pennsylvania, on February 7th.

The plane heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Canada, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The Boeing 757-200 plane took off for Toronto, Canada, but had to turn back due to a hydraulic failure.

The plane suffered a runway excursion on landing. Passengers were evacuated via slides. Six people sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.

Authorities said one plane went down in a field after the crash while the other one made it to Ottawa International Airport.

The plane heading from Dallas, Texas, to Beijing, China, was initially diverted to Edmonton International Airport, Alberta, Canada, after a passenger suffered a medical emergency. However, the crew subsequently reported a mechanical issue and decided to divert to Calgary.
