
A “Toll Priority Logistics Cargo” (out of New Zealand) Boeing 737-300F en route from Brisbane to the Solomon Islands landed at Honiara International Airport on Guadalcanal Island. The right landing gear collapsed on roll out (gear collapse on taxi) on the runway.
None of the three crew were injured.
The plane blocked the single runway resulting in closing of the airport. Incoming flights are being diverted to alternate locations. The incident is under investigation.

United Airlines flight UA-878 overran the end of the runway during landing at Green Bay-Austin Straubel International Airport, Wisconsin, on February 23rd.
American Airlines flight AA-54 had to divert and make an emergency landing in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on December 19th.
