Aerodynamics Flight 974 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on February 2nd.
The charter plane, carrying University of Tulsa’s men’s basketball team, had to turn back after one of the engines stopped working. The team was heading to Philadelphia for a Thursday game at Temple University.
The plane landed safely. All 37 people aboard remained unhurt.
Air India flight AI 102 had to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, India, on January 12.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
TAM Airlines flight JJ-3548 made an emergency landing at Sao Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil, on May 20th.
The Airbus A321-200 plane, heading to Recife, Brazil, had to return after the crew reported a bird strike.
The plane landed uneventfully. All the passengers and crew members remained safe.
A single-engine Cessna plane crashed into Trinity River near Highway 105, Liberty County, Texas, on the evening of September 3rd.
According to sources, there were two men onboard and the pilot was doing flips and barrel rolls before the plane crashed.
The pilot and his friend lost their lives in the crash.
A plane crashed in Guntersville Alabama. The pilot was the only person aboard when the engine stalled, and he ditched in a lake near Lake Guntersville Marina and Guntersville Sailing Club.
The pilot extricated himself from the plane and was rescued by fisherman. Alabama Marine Police and Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and will be securing the site until the NTSB investigation.

What: Emirates en route from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai

Who: 465 passengers
Why: While en route, the plane had a technical failure resulting in smoke in the cockpit. The crew diverted to Chennai where they made a safe landing. Passengers were provided alternative transportation to Dubai. However, the passengers overnighted in Chennai as the problem could not be solved within the crews “max duty time.”
