Small Plane Crashed in Alberta; Pilot Killed

A small plane crashed in an open area in 37 Cottonwood Drive, Blackfalds, Alberta, on the afternoon of October 6th.

The Steen Skybolt, an aerobatic biplane, presumably crashed due to engine problem.

The pilot, who was the only person onboard, was killed in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

United Airlines Jet Diverts to Memphis

United AirlinesUnited Airlines Flight 3730 had to make an emergency landing in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 22nd.

The plane, en-route from Jackson, Mississippi, to Chicago, Illinois, was diverted due to issues with cockpit flight control system.

The plane landed safely. All 37 people aboard remained unharmed.

Plane Carrying TU Men’s Basketball Team Returns to Tulsa due to Engine Failure

Aerodynamics Flight 974 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on February 2nd.

The charter plane, carrying University of Tulsa’s men’s basketball team, had to turn back after one of the engines stopped working. The team was heading to Philadelphia for a Thursday game at Temple University.

The plane landed safely. All 37 people aboard remained unhurt.
