Air France flight AF-636 had to make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on August 21st.

The plane heading from Paris, France, to Houston, Texas, was diverted after an infant suffered a medical emergency.

The plane landed safely. The baby was rushed to the University Hospital Limerick.

Air Wisconsin Plane Diverts to State College due to Issues with Rudder

Air Wisconsin flight ZW-4245/ AA-4245 had to divert and make an emergency landing at the University Park Airport of State College, Pennsylvania, on May 3rd.

The Canadair CRJ-200 flying on behalf of American Airlines was en-route from Philadelphia to Milwaukee, Wisconsin when it had to divert due to strange motions at high speed and some issue with the rudder.

The plane landed safely.

All 22 people aboard remained safe.

Via Airlines Flight Diverts to Pittsburgh due to Loss of Cabin Pressure

Via Airlines flight VC-841 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 29th.

The plane heading from LaGuardia Airport, New York, to Indianapolis, Indiana, was diverted due to loss of cabin pressure.

The plane, carrying Butler University’s Basketball Team, landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Air Canada Flight Diverts to Shannon Airport due to Medical Emergency

Air Canada flight AC-868 made an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on December 24th.

The plane flying from Toronto, Canada, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a 10-year-old girl had a cardiac arrest midair.

The plane landed safely. The child was immediately taken to University Hospital Limerick where she was later pronounced dead.

2 Taken to Hospital After Small Plane Crashes Off Long Island Coast

A small plane crashed into the Long Island Sound near Shoreham, Suffolk County, New York, on December 11th.

Authorities said the pilot reported engine issues before the Beech BE36 plane went down.

There were two people aboard at the time, including the pilot Inderpal Chhabra, 48, and passenger David Tobachnik, 59. Both were shifted to Stony Brook University Hospital.

The plane heading from Milan, Italy, to Toronto, Canada, was diverted after a passenger became ill.

The plane landed safely. The patient was taken to University Hospital Limerick after initial treatment by the paramedics at the airport.

Pilot Injured after Small Plane Crashes in Nebraska

A small plane crashed near 358th Street and Church Road in Louisville, Nebraska, on March 27th.

Authorities believe that the experimental plane, that took off from Millard airport, went down due to engine failure.

The pilot Eric Stadjuhar, 44, was injured in the incident and was air-lifted to University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Small Plane Crash-Lands in Hauppauge

A Cirrus SR22 plane crash-landed in an industrial park in Hauppauge, New York, on March 5th.

The plane was en-route to Republic Airport, Farmingdale, when it developed some engine issues. Authorities said the parachute attached to the plane deployed before it went down in a grassy area, just 8 miles east of Republic Airport.

The plane was carrying two people at the time, including the pilot Louis Obergh and his daughter, Rachel Obergh. Both of them suffered minor injuries. They were returning after visiting University of Rhode Island.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

Plane Carrying TU Men’s Basketball Team Returns to Tulsa due to Engine Failure

Aerodynamics Flight 974 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport, Oklahoma, on February 2nd.

The charter plane, carrying University of Tulsa’s men’s basketball team, had to turn back after one of the engines stopped working. The team was heading to Philadelphia for a Thursday game at Temple University.

The plane landed safely. All 37 people aboard remained unhurt.

Two Killed in Madison County Plane Crash

CessnaA single-engine Cessna 150 crashed in Eaton, Madison County, New York, on September 20.

The plane, carrying 2 Colgate University students, went down shortly after taking off from Hamilton Municipal Airport.

Both occupants of the ill-fated plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as Cathryn Depuy, 18, and Ryan Adams, 18.

The FAA is investigating.
