Iberia Express flight I2-3857 had to reject take off from Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain, on January 16th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane was accelerating to take off for Madrid, Spain, when the crew decided to reject take off to check some aircraft systems.
The plane safely returned to the apron. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Ryanair flight FR-4060 had to return and make an emergency landing at Warsaw Modlin Airport, Poland, on February 7th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Malaga, Spain, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew suspected a tailstrike.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
Icelandair flight FI-554 made an emergency landing in Brussels. Belgium, on March 10th.
The pilot of Boeing 757-200 plane, flying from Keflavik, Iceland, declared emergency due to a problem with the flaps.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
A military plane crashed on Kyushu island, Japan, after losing contact with the air traffic control on April 6th.
The U-125 plane was carrying six crew members when it disappeared from the radar around 10 kilometers north of Kanoya military air base.
All six people aboard were killed in the crash.
The accident is being investigated.
KLM flight KL-887 encountered severe turbulence near Hong Kong, China, on June 4th.
The Boeing 747-400 plane was flying from Amsterdam, Netherlands, when it hit turbulence that injured nine people.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Eight of the injured, including six passengers and two crew members were taken to hospital.
