Wizz Air flight W6-1381 made an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland, on April 25th.
The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Charleroi, Belgium, but had to turn back due to a lightning strike.
The plane landed safely. All 220 people aboard remained safe.

Why: Twenty minutes after take-off, the Air India flight experienced an undefined technical problem and returned safely to the airport, where passengers debarked and were re-routed on another Air India flight, and technicians worked on the plane.
British Airways flight BA1421 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on October 27.
The plane took off from George Best Belfast City Airport and was heading to Heathrow Airport, London, when the pilot declared emergency. According to an airline spokesperson, “The flight landed normally after diverting shortly after take off as a precaution following a technical issue.”
There were 108 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.
Daily Air flight DA-7511 veered off runway after landing in Orchid Island, Taiwan, on April 13th.
The incident happened when the plane was coming from Taitung, Taiwan.
There were 17 passengers and 2 crew members aboard at the time; none of them were injured.
The plane sustained considerable damage.
The incident is being investigated.
JetBlue flight B6-2802 had to return and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on July 11th.
The Embraer ERJ-190 plane took off for Buffalo, New York, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew noticed fumes in the cockpit.
The plane landed back uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.
FedEx Federal Express flight FX-684 had to return and make an emergency landing in Rochester, New York, on October 21st.
The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Memphis, Tennessee, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a suspected flaps issue.
The plane landed uneventfully. There were 2 crew members aboard at the time; both of them remained safe.
Primera Air Nordic flight 6F-108 had to return and make an emergency landing in Alicante, Spain, on October 17th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Keflavik, Iceland, but had to return after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed at higher than normal speed.
No injuries were reported.
