Why: While landing during a storm, the plane overran the runway and ended up nose cone down in a ditch, well past the pavement. (An alternative source said the plane lost control after having a flat on landing.) Passengers described landing, then skidding after landing. The runway was slippery with rain. The plane was evacuated on site, and passengers taken to the gate. Two passengers had minor injuries.

Fokker 100 Makes Emergency Landing at Zahedan Airport, Iran
An Iranian jet en-route from the northeastern city of Mashhad to Southeastern City of Zahedan, made an emergency landing at Zahedan airport on May 10, due to landing gear malfunction.
The Fokker 100 plane was carrying 135 passengers at the time of incident, nine of whom suffered minor injuries.
Reza Arbabi, a spokesperson of the governor-general office of Sistan and Baluchestan province, said that one of the landing gears of the plane failed to deploy when it was about to land on the runway in Zahedan. He praised the captain for his timely reaction and skillfully handling the emergency landing.

Why: The Mexicana Click made an emergency landing in Monterrey when it developed a fault in the undercarriage. It apparently made a safe landing, with no emergencies although it appear one individual may have been suffering from hysteria. Rescue crews were on hand. Why: The hard landing of Mahan flight W5-613 blew out the nose wheel tires, causing the flight to skid off the runway on collapsed nose gear.Slides were used to evacuate the flight, injuring eleven in the process, all of whom initially went to the hospital. Three were retained with serious injuries.
Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaii was among the injured.

Fokker 100 Gear Sensor Failure

Why: While en route, the gear proximity sensor failed, indicating that gear was indicated unsafe after retraction. The flight returned to Stuttgart, and had to be towed as nose gear steering was inoperable. Tiger Flight Stuck in Kalibo
A Tiger Airways Philippines Airbus A320 was taxiing on the runway at Kalibo International Airport in the Philippines when the plane got stuck on the runway. Passengers were provided accommodations at a local hotel as they waited for the situation to be amended. A dozen flights had to be rerouted, in the meantime.
50 passengers were aboard the flight bound for Singapore when it got mired while making a 180-degree turn at the end of Runway 05.
Airport traffic was halted as the situation was resolved. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced that the front wheel “stuck on a soft spot and got stalled while making a 180-degree turn at the end of Runway 05.”
The Aircraft Accident Investigation & Inquiry Board is investigating.

Aeroservices Runway Overrun
On 08-NOV-2013, an Aeroservices Socata TB-9 Tampico stalled, tried for a go around but suffered a hard landing and veered off the runway at Pachi Megara airport, Attica, Greece.
The plane was a total loss but the two aboard survived. No injuries were reported.
The accident is under investigation.
The cause of the plane’s stall has not been reported. The plane sustained substantial damage.
