2 Injured after a Light Plane Crashed in NSW
A light plane made a crash landing in scrub land, around 40km south of Narrabri, New South Wales, Australia.
The incident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on June 12.
According to the police, they were informed that the emergency landing occurred due to suspected engine failure.
The plane was carrying 2 people at the time of crash; both of them were injured. The 69 year old pilot was flown to Tamworth Hospital with broken ribs and cuts to his head while the 32 year old passenger suffered minor leg injury and was shifted to Narrabri Hospital. Authorities confirmed that both of the injured are in stable condition.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Small Plane Makes a Bumpy Landing at Essendon Airport
A small twin-engine aircraft had to make an emergency landing at Essendon Airport in Melbourne, Australia, at around 3 p.m. on November 26.The plane was on a flight from Adelaide to Mount Gambier when the pilot noticed a problem with nose landing gear. The 29-year-old pilot then diverted the plane to Essendon Airport where it made a nose landing.
MFB tweeted after the incident: “A bumpy landing for a pilot at #Essendon airport. The nose wheel collapsed on impact but luckily no fire or injuries!”
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating.

The 6-seat Piper 32 plane was heading from Venice, Italy, to Leipzig, Germany, when it went down.
There were four people aboard at the time; all of them were killed in the crash. It is believed that the founder of German internet company ‘Unister’ Thomas Wagner, 38, was among those killed in the crash.
The plane was registered in the United States.
Authorities said the pilot reported problems with icing before the plane crashed.
