Novo Air flight VQ-967 had to return and make an emergency landing at Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on May 16th.
The Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, en-route to Rajshahi, Bangladesh, had to return after its landing gear failed to retract.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.

Why: When the engine failed, the pilot circled and attempted a landing in the area of Barkersville Road and Southline Road. On hitting a small hill in the field, the plane overturned.
A single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing in Kiskiminetas River, near Saltsburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, on August 23.
Authorities said the pilot decided to make an emergency landing after the aircraft developed mechanical problems and started losing fuel pressure.
The pilot remained unhurt and was able to swim to the shore.
The plane was taken to shore with the help of crane.
The Thai Lion Air flight SL8537 from Hat Yai to Bangkok, Thailand, had to return for emergency landing on August 20, after the co-pilot collapsed midair.
The Dutch co-pilot Peter Esberte, 47 lost consciousness just 20 minutes after the Boeing 737-900 aircraft took off. The pilot then decided to return to Hat Yai airport where he made an emergency landing at 1:21 p.m.
Esberte later died on the way to hospital from the airport. The cause of death is not yet known, however, the Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (Aerothai) said Esberte died of a heart attack.
Worawut Kongkositkul, in-charge of flight operations for the low cost airline, said that Esberte joined the airline last year at its launch and was completely healthy.
All 152 passengers aboard the plane remained unharmed.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH148 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tullamarine airport in Melbourne, Australia, on June 12.
The flight was en-route from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur when the crew reported a possible engine fire and requested an emergency landing.
The plane landed safely and none of the 300 passengers reported any injuries.
According to the airline, the initial inspection of the aircraft showed “no physical evidence of fire externally”.
Kenya Airways flight KQ-112 had to return and make an emergency landing in Nairobi, Kenya, on December 28th.
The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, but had to return shortly afterwards due to loss of cabin pressure.
The passenger oxygen masks were deployed as the plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Hawaiian Airlines flight HA3 had to return and make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport, California, on May 18.
According to an airline spokesperson, the plane was en-route to Honolulu when the crew noticed a cockpit indicator light that showed an open fuel jettison valve. The captain then declared an emergency and turned back towards LAX.
The A330 plane landed uneventfully. There were 290 passengers and 10 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
On landing, it was found that the valve was closed.
