Why: While en route, the pilots received information of bad weather in Bangalore.
They decided to divert to Hyderabad, and made a 5 a.m. emergency landing.
Passengers were provided alternate transportation to Bangalore.
Last week, an Emirates flight from Bangkok to Dubai diverted to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to make an emergency landing due to what was reported as a “technical snag” which may have been hydraulics, or 3 generators off line depending on which rumor you wish to believe.


Zagros Air flight IZG-4065 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Ahwaz, Iran, on July 12th.
S7 Airlines flight S7-1148 made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia, on February 6th.
Air New Zealand flight NZ-101 had to return and make an emergency landing in Auckland, New Zealand, on August 20th.
