Allegiant Air 822 Makes Emergency Diversion From NY to Maryland

On Allegiant Air 822, everyone aboard the Airbus A320 was leaving Clearwater International anticipating a routine flight and to land at Elmira/Corning Regional Airport. A Brake Control panel light changed all that. Pilots diverted to Baltimore. Passengers assumed the brace position, and survived the landing without further ado. No injuries and no obvious problems occurred, though the control panel alert suggested that brake issues might have been going on.

The plane made a safe landing. No further notification has been made public regarding the condition of the brakes, but the plane was taken from rotation for maintenance and inspection.

Passengers were booked an alternative flights.

Swiss International Air Lines is the flagship airline of Switzerland. Its main hub is Zurich Airport.

Aer Lingus Plane makes Safe Landing in Dublin

Aer LingusAer Lingus flight EI-583 made a safe landing at Dublin Airport, Dublin, Ireland, on November 20.

The Airbus A321-200, en-route from Malaga, Spain to Dublin was approaching the runway when the crew detected some problem with its brakes.

The plane landed safely.

All passengers aboard remained unhurt.

Jetstar Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Perth due to Brake Failure Indication

The plane was flying from Denpasar, Indonesia, when the crew reported a brake failure indication and requested a ‘clear runway, for an emergency landing.’

According to the airline, “Air traffic control asked the captain to conduct a holding pattern until the runway could be cleared for landing… Following a short period of holding, the captain landed the aircraft safely…. There was no issue with the aircraft braking system during the landing.”

None of the 181 people aboard were injured.

United Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Las Vegas
