Cebu Pacific flight 5J-629 made a hard landing at Sibulan Airport/ Dumaguete Airport, Sibulan, Philippines, on April 26.
The Airbus A320-200, flying from Manila, Philippines, was mid-air when the crew noticed a hydraulic leak in one of its main gears. There were also found some leaves and branches in the gear.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
Qatar Airways flight QR-307 had to return and make an emergency landing in Doha, Qatar, on October 21st.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Helsinki, Finland, but had to turn back due to a technical issue.

A 1960 Piper Comanche single-engine plane made an emergency landing at Millville Municipal Airport, Cumberland County, New Jersey, on December 4.
Authorities said the plane was taking off when it lost power and landed on its belly on the grass near a taxiway.
There were two people aboard at the time, including the pilot Roger Buck of Berlin and his passenger Roland Arthur of Lumberton. Buck sustained minor injuries in the incident while Arthur remained unhurt.
The plane, registered to Buck, was significantly damaged.
The FAA is investigating.

What: Egypt Air Airbus A330-200 en route from Cairo to Hurghada

Why: Prior to take-off, there was crew error on the ground, and the plane impacted two runway light poles. The wings were damaged; the streetlights collapsed. Passengers were transferred to another plane.
The damaged plane was judged to be a total loss.
Yakutia Airlines flight R3-497 made an emergency landing in Yakutsk, Russia, on January 5th.
The plane took off for Blagoveshchensk, Russia, but had to return shortly afterwards due to indication of an open door.
The plane landed safely. There were 50 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Why: While en route, the crew noted smoke filled the cockpit, and they diverted to Lincoln where they made a safe landing. Rescue vehicles were on standby, including Lincoln Fire and Rescue. After evacuation, passengers were booked on alternative flights.
The cause of the smoke has not been published.
