LGW Plane’s Tire Bursts on Landing in Saarbruecken

Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) flight AB-6478 blew a main tire upon landing in Saarbruecken, Germany, on August 29th.

The incident happened when the plane was coming from Berlin, Germany.

The plane safely taxied to the apron. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Air Moldova Plane makes Safe Landing in Moldova after Fractured Tyre

Air Moldova flight 9U-756 made a safe landing at Chi?in?u International Airport, Moldova, on July 26th.

The Airbus A320-200 flying from Antalya, Turkey, got one of its main gear tyre flat spot and fractured while landing.

The plane landed safely.

No injuries were reported.

Mahan Airlines Plane makes Safe Landing in Germany after Tyre Burst

Mahan Airlines flight WS-100 made a safe emergency landing at Düsseldorf Airport, Germany, on July 6th.

The Airbus A340-300 flying from Tehran Imam Khomeini had just landed on the runway when all eight of its main tyres burst during the roll out.

The plane landed safely.

All 81 passengers aboard remained safe.

KLM Plane Returns to Amsterdam due to Wrong Indication of Gear

KLM flight KL-1387 had to return and make an emergency landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the Netherlands, on July 5th.

The Boeing 737-800 flying to Kiev, Ukraine, had to return because of wrong indication of its main gear.

The plane landed uneventfully.

No one was injured.

Asiana Airlines Plane Diverts to Germany due to Open Gear Door

The Boeing 747-400 flying from Brussels, Belgium, to Seoul, South Korea, had to divert because one of its main gear doors was open.

Peruvian Airlines Plane makes Hard Landing in Peru after Tyre Burst

Peruvian Airlines flight P9-112 made a hard landing at Francisco Carle Airport, Jauja, Peru, on May 1st.

The Boeing 737-500 flying from Lima, Peru, had just landed when its left main tyre burst.

All 90 passengers aboard remained safe.

The tyre was replaced immediately.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport

A small plane made an emergency landing at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Florida, on April 28th.

The plane was flying from Belize to Tampa, Florida, when the pilot declared an emergency reporting that the left main gear wheel was missing.

The plane landed safely. Chief Operating Officer of the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Mark Stuckey, said, “Luckily when it did land, the aircraft did not catch fire, there were sparks but it safely skidded into the grass.”

There were four people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Wings Abadi flight IW-1896 veered off the runway at Achmad Yani International Airport, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, on December 25th.

The Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A flying from Bandung landed safely on the runway but veered off and came to a stop with its right main gear collapsed.

The aircraft received substantial damage.

The right main gear of the plane collapsed and it slid on its nose gear.

All 3 crew members and 15.3 tons of cargo remained safe.

Eva AirEva Air Cargo flight BR-682 made a safe emergency landing at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, on September 3rd.

The Boeing 747-400 flying from Shenzhen, China, had just landed when the crew faced difficulties in its control.

The aircraft became disabled after landing and turned off with all its tyres and main gear deflated.

All people aboard remained safe.

United Airlines Plane makes Safe Landing in Ireland
