Avianca Airlines flight AV-8562 had to return and make an emergency landing in Bogota, Colombia, on November 1st.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Bucaramanga, Colombia, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a hydraulic failure.
The plane landed safely. All 135 passengers and 7 crew members remained unharmed.
A Royal Air Force helicopter had to make an emergency landing at Cardiff Airport in the Vale of Glamorgan, United Kingdom, on the morning of February 4.
According to a Ministry of Defence spokesperson, “Two RAF aircraft were training in Pembrey when one aircraft thought it had been struck by a bird…As a precaution the aircraft asked to land at the nearest airport which was Cardiff…There was no damaged discovered and both aircraft returned to the RAF Valley base in Anglesea.”

The helicopter went down while it was transporting a five-year-old girl to Kathmandu for medical treatment.
There were seven people aboard at the time, including the baby and her family members; all of them were killed in the crash.
The cause of crash is being investigated.

Arik Air flight W3-662 had to return and make an emergency landing in Lagos, Nigeria, on November 11th.
The Boeing 737-700 plane took off for Jos, Nigeria, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
Air India flight AI-676 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Maharashtra, India, on July 22nd.
The Airbus A320-200 flying from Kolkata to Mumbai in India had to divert due to some issue with its landing gear.
