    THY Turkish Airlines Plane Rejects Take-off in Turkey due to Engine Problem

    THY Turkish Airlines flight TK-1995 had to reject take-off at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey, on July 29th.

    The Airbus A321-200 en-route to Manchester, England, was taking-off when its left engine emitted loud bangs.

    The plane returned safely to the apron.

    No one was injured.

    Gol Linhas Aéreas Plane makes Safe Landing in Brazil

    GolGol Linhas Aéreas flight G3-1253 had to return and make a safe landing at Sen. Petronio Portella Airport, Teresina, Piaui, Brazil, on December 12.

    The Boeing 737-800 was en-route to Brasilia, Brazil, when the crew encountered some problem with its engine and returned to Teresina for a safe landing.

    The plane landed safely.

    All passengers aboard remained unhurt.

    Passengers Jump out as Loganair Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Netherlands

    LoganairA Loganair charter flight had to return and make an emergency landing at Rotterdam The Hague Airport in the Netherlands on September 30.

    The Saab 340 aircraft, carrying 17 passengers, departed for Aberdeen, Scotland, but had to turn back shortly afterwards due to a hydraulic leak. Passengers reported seeing red fluid leaking out from the aircraft’s wing.

    According to an airline spokesperson, “The aircraft landed safely at the airport around 4.35pm local time where it was brought to a halt, but subsequently rolled just off the runway due to an issue with the hydraulics.” The passengers had to jump out of the emergency exits.

    The airline arranged a replacement service for the passengers.

    Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to Chattanooga due to Cargo Smoke Indication

    Delta Airlines flight DL-2826 made an emergency landing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 17th.

    The plane heading from Atlanta, Georgia, to Nashville, Tennessee, was diverted due to a cargo smoke indication.

    The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.
