China Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Japan

China Airlines flight CI-170 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Nagoya, Japan, on July 8th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Taipei, Taiwan, was originally scheduled to land in Toyama, Japan. However, despite multiple attempts, the crew could not land in Toyama due to unstable air currents.

The crew subsequently diverted to Nagoya and made an emergency landing due to shortage of fuel.

All one hundred and fifty-five people aboard remained unharmed.

FedEx Express Flight Diverts to Tokyo Narita Airport

FedEx Express flight FX-49 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Tokyo Narita Airport, Japan, on December 9th.

The plane heading from Anchorage, Alaska, to Taipei, Taiwan, was diverted after the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Daily Air Plane Veers Off Runway in Taiwan

Daily Air flight DA-7511 veered off runway after landing in Orchid Island, Taiwan, on April 13th.

The incident happened when the plane was coming from Taitung, Taiwan.

There were 17 passengers and 2 crew members aboard at the time; none of them were injured.

The plane sustained considerable damage.

The incident is being investigated.

Shanghai Airlines Flight Returns to Taiwan due to Engine Problem

Shanghai Airlines flight FM-852 had to return for an emergency landing in Taipei, Taiwan, on February 24th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Shanghai, China, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew noticed a problem with one of the engines and decided to shut it down.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 299 people aboard remained safe.

ANA Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Engine Failure

ANAAll Nippon Airways flight NH-823 made an emergency landing at Narita International Airport, Japan, on September 25th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Taipei, Taiwan, but had to turn back after the left hand engine failed.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 191 people aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Eva Air Cargo Plane makes Safe Landing in Taiwan

Eva AirEva Air Cargo flight BR-682 made a safe emergency landing at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, on September 3rd.

The Boeing 747-400 flying from Shenzhen, China, had just landed when the crew faced difficulties in its control.

The aircraft became disabled after landing and turned off with all its tyres and main gear deflated.

All people aboard remained safe.
