The incident happened when the plane was coming from Qimei, Taiwan.

China Airlines flight CI-170 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Nagoya, Japan, on July 8th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Taipei, Taiwan, was originally scheduled to land in Toyama, Japan. However, despite multiple attempts, the crew could not land in Toyama due to unstable air currents.
The crew subsequently diverted to Nagoya and made an emergency landing due to shortage of fuel.
All one hundred and fifty-five people aboard remained unharmed.
Air Asia flight D7-377 made a safe emergency landing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Selangor, Malaysia, on May 5th.
The Airbus A330-300 flying from Taipei, Taiwan, was mid-air when it encountered turbulence.

The injured were treated at the airport.
All Nippon Airways flight NH-823 made an emergency landing in Okinawa, Japan, on December 18.
Authorities said the Boeing 767-300, en-route from Tokyo Narita Airport, Japan, to Taipei, Taiwan, was forced to divert after the crew reported haze in the cockpit.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 198 people on board remained safe.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
The incident is being investigated.

Why: Although there were problems presented to ATC in advance, on landing in Munich, the Singapore Airlines Boeing suffered a runway excursion, when it veered right on landing. Landing occurred with reduced visibility and low cloud cover. All three gear were off the runway when the plane stopped. Passengers evacuated with no injuries via stairs brought to the jet.
The three year old jet has General Electric GE90 engines and appears to have suffered no obvious damage.
Cathay Pacific flight CX-469 made an emergency landing in Hong Kong, China, on April 6th.

The plane landed safely. There were 320 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
