What: Six-seat twin engine plane en route from the La Aurora to Belize bound for the neighboring country of Belize.

Who: Passengers included four Francisco Marroquin University professors; pilot Hector Ramos, and passengers Rafael Araneda, Claudia Porras of Araneda, Joseph Godoy, Juan Roberto Brenes and Helmuth Wintzer
Why: The crash destroyed a home, and parts of the wreckage also ended up in a swimming pool. The cause of the crash is under investigation but bad weather is thought to be responsible. The pilot was attempting a turn when he crashed at 15th Avenue and 20th Street area near the 13th Air Force. The plane fell on house 20-21.
Four people inside the house were shocked by the noise, but no one was hurt.

The plane heading from Beirut, Lebanon, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a violent fight broke out between two passengers.
The crew were able to separate the two passengers before the plane landed safely.
Southwest Airlines flight WN-1981 suffered a bird strike on the way to Saint Louis, Missouri, on October 5th.
The incident happened shortly after the plane took off from Dallas Love Field, Texas.
The plane continued for a safe landing.

Why: Near the Pennsy biking trail and County Road 400 east, a single engine aircraft, a Piper PA-22-150 Tri-Pacer has crashed.
The accident occurred south of Pope Airfield where the pilot had just attempted takeoff but failed to achieve adequate lift to fly over the treeline.
They did miss power lines.
Pilot Melvin Grant, of Greenfield, and passengers Mark Grant and Andrew Pfaff were taken to Indianapolis’s Methodist Hospital.
The FAA is investigating.
All Nippon Airways flight NH-561 had to return and make an emergency landing at Haneda Airport, Ota, Tokyo, Japan, on May 27th.
The Boeing 737-800 en-route to Kochi, Japan, had to return shortly after the crew detected problems with its cabin pressure.
The plane landed uneventfully.
One passenger suffered ear injuries and was taken to hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
