    Who: 214 passengers
    Why: While en route, engine problems forced an unnamed Transaero Boeing crew to divert to Rostov-on-Don reportedly due to undisclosed engine problems. However, date, plane and preliminary cause have not been verified. It apparently had the same number aboard as Kolavia Flight 348 (214) which burned on the runway before being able to take off for Moscow.

    Emergency Landing in Multan Pakistan

    What: PIA Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 737-300 en route from Islamabad to Karachi
    Where: Multan Pakistan
    When: Sep 27th 2011
    Who: 118 passengers
    Why: While en route, the one working generator failed. The captain announced to the passengers that they were having technical problems.

    The crew diverted to Multan and made a safe landing; the flight landed with subdued lighting. One main generator was completely non-operational.

    Passengers were rebooked on an alternative flight.

    Southwest Airlines Plane Diverts to Ohio due to Cracked Window

    Southwest Airlines flight WN-957 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Ohio, on May 2nd.

    The Boeing 737-700 flying from Chicago, Illinois, to Newark, New Jersey, had to divert due to a crack in the cabin window.

    The plane landed safely.

    All 81 passengers aboard remained safe.

    Ethiopian Airlines Flight Returns to Addis Ababa After Engine Failure

    Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-638 had to return and make an emergency landing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on August 7th.

    The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Singapore but had to turn back due to an engine failure.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Aeropostal Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Venezuela

    Aeropostal Airlines flight VH-150 made an emergency landing in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, on February 27th.

    The plane flying from Caracas, Venezuela, was on approach to Barquisimeto when the crew received an engine fire indication.

    The plane continued for a safe landing.

    The passengers were evacuated via slides. No injuries were reported.
