Six more coffins containing the remains of victims of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 were flown to the Netherlands, through a Dutch Air Force transport plane, on November 28.
The plane carrying 298 people was heading from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was presumably shot by a surface-to-air missile fired from a rebel-occupied area of Donetsk region, Ukraine, on July 17th this year. All passengers, including 196 Dutch citizens, were killed in the crash.
A farewell ceremony was held at the runway of Kharkiv International Airport, Ukraine, before the plane departed. The ceremony was attended by Kharkiv governor Igor Baluta, Dutch Security and Justice Minister Ivo Opstelten as well as the officials of the international investigation team and Ukrainian police.
The plane was received by several high level officials, including the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, at the Eindhoven airbase in Netherlands.
The remains were later shifted to a Hilversum-based forensic research facility for identification.

Why: The Desert Sand Aircraft Leasing flight piloted by 37-year-old Bryan Hedrick crashed at 11:45 am on March 8, 2011 on a post maintenance flight run. The maintenance was done by National Aerotech Aviation, and the maintenance flight was headed toward Tara Field when the plane went down for an unknown reason, and landed upside down, with the tail leaning on a tree, the right wing off and twisted, and the left wing folded back.
Both the pilot and passenger Oriel Roberts died in the crash.

Authorities believe that the experimental plane, that took off from Millard airport, went down due to engine failure.
The pilot Eric Stadjuhar, 44, was injured in the incident and was air-lifted to University of Nebraska Medical Center.
An abandoned small plane was found in a pasture in Washington County, Oregon, on January 5th.
Authorities said the land-owner found the aircraft when he went to feed his cattle in the pasture.
The troopers contacted the pilot who told them he had to make an emergency landing due to mechanical issues and that he was not injured. He said he was making arrangements to bring a mechanic to the plane.

A single-engine Piper PA-28 Cherokee crashed at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Missouri, at around 7 p.m. on March 1.
The incident happened when the plane was attempting touch-and-go landings at the airport. Authorities said the aircraft loss power before it went down near the Missouri River.
There were 2 people aboard at the time of accident; the pilot remained unharmed while his female passenger broke her arm. She was taken to hospital.
The accident is being investigated.
