    Flybe Flight Lands in Newcastle Due to Medical Emergency

    FlybeFlybe flight BE321 had to make an emergency landing in Newcastle, UK, on November 11.

    The pilot declared emergency after a passenger became sick midair. The flight was on its way from Birmingham to Aberdeen at the time.

    The plane landed uneventfully and the patient was given immediate medical assistance.

    The plane again departed for Aberdeen after some time.

    Galveston Ultralight Crash Kills Pilot


    After 11am near Santa Fe on Oct 8, 2013, Roger Brown’s first flight on the ultra-light 67 killed him. The ultralight plane crashed in Galveston County, tearing the tail off.

    Brown took off from his property. According to witnesses, he was looking for somewhere to land when he crashed in an unincorporated area Santa Fe. Brown had radio equipment aboard but apparently had no time to send out a mayday.

    The Galveston County Sheriff Office and the Santa Fe police responded to the scene

    Waterford Pilot Crashes by Williams Lake

    What: 1946 Piper J3C-65 Cub
    Where: Waterford Township
    When: July 19, 2011 7:10 p.m.
    Who: pilot
    Why: The pilot was attempting to make a lake landing with the single engine seaplane when he hit trees near Ideal Terrace and crashed in a field near Williams Lake. The pilot managed to avoid houses in the area, but was injured in the crash with severe injuries to his neck and cuts on his legs.

    Out-of-Gas Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on U.S. Highway 20

    A 1971 Piper Cherokee 140 aircraft made an emergency landing on U.S. Highway 20 near Bend, Oregon, at around 7:15 p.m. on November 7.

    The plane departed from Tracy, California and was heading to Prineville when it ran out of gas. The pilot then diverted it to Bend airport but landed on a straight stretch of highway instead, after realizing he could not make it to the airport.

    There were 3 people aboard at the time of incident; none of them was injured. Sgt. Aaron Harding of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office identified them as the pilot William Espinoza, 30, his sister-in-law Rebekah Schantz-Kemper, 24 and an 11 year old girl.

    The plane took off 3 hours later after refueling.

    Small Plane Crashed into Daycare Building in Fort Myers; 1 Killed, 1 Injured

    A small plane crashed into a daycare center in Fort Myers, Florida, on June 24th.

    One person was killed in the accident while another one was injured. The injured was shifted to a hospital.

    Authorities confirmed that there were no employees inside the Chico’s daycare center when the Piper PA-28 crashed into it.

    The incident is being investigated.

    China Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Guam

    China AirlinesChina Airlines flight CI-25 had to make an emergency landing in Guam, on April 17th.

    The Boeing 737-800 took off for Taipei, Taiwan, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported loss of cabin pressure.

    The plane landed safely. All 109 passengers and 13 crew members remained unharmed.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
