Flybe flight BE321 had to make an emergency landing in Newcastle, UK, on November 11.
The pilot declared emergency after a passenger became sick midair. The flight was on its way from Birmingham to Aberdeen at the time.
The plane landed uneventfully and the patient was given immediate medical assistance.
The plane again departed for Aberdeen after some time.

What: United Airlines Boeing 757-200 en route from Sacramento to Chicago
Where: Chicago
When: Mar 8th 2010
Why: On final approach, there was a bird strike. After a safe landing, the plane was grounded for inspection. Specific damage might be out there published somewhere, but I didn’t see it. The next flight was cancelled.
What: Flybe de Havilland Dash 8-400
Where: Ronaldsway
When: May 20 2012, 1.45pm.
Who: 52 passengers
Why: While en route, a Flybe jet headed took off from and returned to Ronaldsway and made a safe landing, with airport and Castletown, Port Erin and Douglas fire crews on standby.
Passengers disembarked on the tarmac and were taken by bus to the terminal.
An Alitalia flight from Ancona had to make an emergency landing at Fiumicino airport in Rome, Italy, on November 5.
The incident happened after the right engine of the ATR 72 twin turboprop aircraft was struck by lightning while passing through a severe storm.
The plane landed uneventfully and all 51 passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
The aircraft was taken for examination.

What: Saha Airlines Boeing 707-300 en route from Ahvaz to Tehran
Where: Ahvaz
When: Aug 3rd 2009
Who: 174 passenger
Why: On take off, engines one and two caught on fire. The crew declared emergency and landed safely where the plane landed and a fuel leak was discovered in the plane. Passengers debarked without injury.
American Airlines flight AA-87 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, on June 17th.
The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Chicago, Illinois, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew received an indication of outflow valve malfunction.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

What: Pinnacle Airlines Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines en route from Louisville,KY to Minneapolis,MN (USA)
Where: Minneapolis
When: Dec 8th 2011
Why: While on approach to Minneapolis, the CRJ-200 underwent a flaps failure.
The pilots made efforts to correct the problems and were unsuccessful in facilitating reparations. They made a fast landing without flaps, but the landing was otherwise without incident.
