China Eastern Airlines flight MU-774 encountered severe turbulence on the way to Kunming, China, on June 18th.
The Airbus A330-200 plane was flying from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, when it hit severe turbulence that injured twenty-six passengers.
The plane continued for a safe landing.
Authorities said four passengers suffered serious injuries while twenty-two others received minor injuries. They were taken to hospitals.
Air China flight CA-840 made an emergency landing in Minsk, Belarus, on June 19th.
The Airbus A330-200 plane heading from Barcelona, Spain, to Shanghai, China, was diverted after the crew suspected a fuel leak.

GoJet Airlines flight DL-6185 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Richmond, Virginia, on July 22nd.
The plane heading from Raleigh–Durham International Airport, North Carolina to LaGuardia Airport, New York, was diverted due to a fault in the right hand engine.
The plane landed uneventfully. There were 60 passengers and 4 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
United Express flight 4020 operated by Mesa Airlines made an emergency landing at McAllen Miller International Airport in Hidalgo County, Texas, on January 28.
The airline said that the ATC declared a ‘precautionary emergency’ after a brake light indicator came on.
The Embraer 175 plane landed uneventfully. There were 41 people aboard the plane; all of them remained unhurt.
The maintenance personnel inspected the plane and cleared it to continue the flight to Houston.

Why: On takeoff, the plane developed a problem. The right engine was shut down. After suffering what sounded like a backfire to passengers, the captain announced they would be returning.
The flight crew then dumped fuel (apparently in the English Channel) and returned to the airport. Passengers were provided accommodations and were rescheduled.
Edelweiss Air flight WK-176 had to return and make an emergency landing in Zurich, Switzerland, on July 2nd.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Antalya, Turkey, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed back safely. There were one hundred and sixty-six passengers and six crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
Hawaiian Airlines flight HA-43 made a safe landing at Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, Hawaii, on April 22nd.
The Boeing 767-300, flying from San Jose, California, had just climbed out of runway when it encountered turbulence mid-air, but the crew decided to continue the flight to Honolulu.
The plane landed safely.
Four crew members received injuries due to turbulence.
