China Eastern Airlines Plane Hits Severe Turbulence; 26 Injured

China Eastern Airlines flight MU-774 encountered severe turbulence on the way to Kunming, China, on June 18th.

The Airbus A330-200 plane was flying from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, when it hit severe turbulence that injured twenty-six passengers.

The plane continued for a safe landing.

Authorities said four passengers suffered serious injuries while twenty-two others received minor injuries. They were taken to hospitals.

Myanmar Military Plane Carrying 122 People Crashes into Andaman Sea

A Myanmar military plane crashed into Andaman Sea near the city of Dawei, Myanmar, on June 7th.

The plane, carrying one hundred and twenty-two people, had disappeared from the radar around thirty minutes after it took off from Myeik, Myanmar.

Among the occupants were soldiers and their family members.

Authorities said they have found the wreckage and at least twenty-nine dead bodies.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Air Wisconsin Plane Diverts to State College due to Issues with Rudder

Air Wisconsin flight ZW-4245/ AA-4245 had to divert and make an emergency landing at the University Park Airport of State College, Pennsylvania, on May 3rd.

The Canadair CRJ-200 flying on behalf of American Airlines was en-route from Philadelphia to Milwaukee, Wisconsin when it had to divert due to strange motions at high speed and some issue with the rudder.

The plane landed safely.

All 22 people aboard remained safe.

MI-8 Helicopter Crashes in Russia; 19 Killed, 3 Injured

A MI-8 helicopter crashed in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia, on the night of October 21st.

The helicopter was carrying 22 people from Siberian region of Krasnoyarsk to Urengoy, at the time.

At least 19 people were killed in the crash whereas 3 suffered serious injuries.

The injured were taken to hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Military Plane Crashed in Ecuador; 22 Killed

A military plane crashed in Pastaza province of Ecuador, on March 15th.

Authorities said the Israeli-made Arava cargo plane was transporting 19 soldiers for a parachuting training when it went down in the Amazon region.

There were 22 people aboard at the time, including the soldiers, two pilots, and one mechanic; all of them were killed in the crash.

The cause of crash is under investigation.
