ANA Wings flight NH-1822 had to make an emergency landing in Nagoya, Japan, on April 25th.
The plane flying from Matsuyama, Japan, was descending toward Nagoya when the crew entered a hold reporting a hydraulic failure.
The plane subsequently landed safely and was towed to the apron.
There were 57 passengers and 4 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
Delta Airlines flight DL-45 had to return and make an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland, on September 30th.
The Boeing 767-400 plane took off for John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to turn back due to a mechanical issue.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
An Air France flight had to make an emergency landing at Koltsovo International Airport in Yekaterinburg, Russia, on February 15.
According to Russian media, the decision for emergency landing was made after one of the engines of Boeing 777 stopped working. The flight was en-route from Seoul, South Korea to Paris, France at the time.
The plane, carrying 290 passengers and 18 crew members, landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Emirates Airlines flight EK-607 made an emergency landing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on September 6th.
The plane was flying from Karachi, Pakistan, when the crew declared an emergency due to indication of a flat tire.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Why: Shortly after takeoff, the plane made a noise like a backfire and the left engine failed. The plane was witnessed to fly over Barrigada, bank north over Tumon, fly out over the Philippine Sea before returning to the airport to make a safe landing.
Continental seems to be planning to use the 757 in an upcoming regular route to Hong Kong.
One wonders if the 757 is not a Hong Kong regular, why 757 maintenance is being ferried there.
Airport firefighters responded at 7 am.
EasyJet flight U2-6819 made an emergency landing at Berlin Schoenefeld Airport, Germany, on October 4th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Glasgow, Scotland, was descending toward Berlin Schoenefeld Airport when the crew requested emergency assistance due to a burning odor in the cockpit.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Skymark Airlines flight 732 had to return and make an emergency landing at New Chitose Airport, Hakkaido, Japan, on August 22nd.
The aircraft en-route to Haneda, Japan, was mid-air when a passenger’s portable battery charger exploded and started emitting smoke.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 170 passengers onboard remained unharmed.
