Delta airlines flight 271 made an emergency landing at Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 22.
The Boeing 767-300ER, heading from Paris to Newark Airport, New Jersey, had to be diverted due to extreme turbulence.
Authorities said the plane could not land in Newark due to high winds. It then attempted to land at JFK but that too could not be made possible. The pilot then diverted the plane to Boston where it made a safe emergency landing. There were 180 passengers and 11 crew members aboard at the time.
The authorities confirmed that 2 people were shifted to hospital due to motion sickness and minor injuries.
