The plane flying from Moscow, Russia, was descending toward Salekhard when the crew requested emergency assistance due to an engine fire indication.
The plane landed safely. There were forty-two people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
SkyWest Airlines flight OO-5849 had to make an emergency landing in Durango, Colorado, on July 25th.
The plane flying from Denver, Colorado, was preparing to land in Durango when the crew reported a problem with nose landing gear.
The crew used an alternate gear extension system and landed safely. All 56 people aboard remained uninjured.
Thomson Airways flight BY-108 had to reject takeoff from Manchester, England, on April 16th.
The Boeing 787-800 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Bridgetown, Barbados, when the crew noticed some problem and rejected takeoff at high speed.
The plane safely returned to the apron. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Jet Airways flight 9W-2074 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Ahmedabad, India, on November 21st.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Udaipur to Mumbai, India, was diverted due to a cargo smoke indication.
The plane landed safely. All one hundred and eleven passengers aboard remained unharmed.
American Airlines flight AA-141 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, County Clare, Ireland, on May 23rd.
The Boeing 777-200, en-route from London, England, to New York, was mid-air when the crew reported indications of vibrations and decided to divert.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 89 people onboard remained unharmed.

What: Egypt Air Boeing 737-800 en route from Cairo to Berlin
Where: Athens

Who: 100 passengers
Why: While on route, the left engine developed a problem. The pilot shut down the engine, and diverted to Athens where it made a safe landing. Alternative transport to Berlin was provided.
Delta Airlines flight DL-2845 made a safe landing at Rapid City’s Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, on July 7th.
The Airbus A320-200, flying from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Rapid City Regional Airport, South Dakota, accidentally landed on the airport’s air force base.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
