    Indigo flight 6E-742 made an emergency landing in Visakhapatnam, India, on November 12th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Hyderabad, India, but hit a wild boar during departure.

    The crew subsequently turned back and landed safely at Visakhapatnam Airport. All one hundred and fifty-nine people aboard remained unharmed.

    LATAM Brasil Flight Returns to Sao Paulo due to Engine Issue

    LATAM Brasil flight LA-3466 had to return and make an emergency landing at Sao Paulo International Airport, Brazil, on February 17th.

    The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Porto Alegre, Brazil, but had to turn back due to an engine issue.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Spirit Airlines Flight Diverts to Denver due to Fumes On-Board

    Spirit Airlines flight NK-395 made an emergency landing in Denver, Colorado, on December 16th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Las Vegas, Nevada, was diverted due to fumes on board.

    The plane landed safely. Three passengers and two crew members were treated by medical teams at the airport.

    British Airways flight BA-446 had to make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on January 8th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Heathrow Airport, England, was on final approach to Amsterdam when the crew reported a gear problem and went around.

    Binghampton Emergency Landing

    What: United Airlines/Colgan Air Saab 340B en route from Binghampton to Washington DC
    Where: Binghampton
    When: Nov 24 2010
    Who: 33 passengers
    Why: On takeoff, the flight developed an indication of a fire in the left engine. The pilot returned to Binghampton, and made a safe landing. After passengers evacuated, the problem was discovered to be due to a sensor fault.
