    Air Wisconsin Plane Returns to Manchester due to Gear Issue

    airwisconsinAir Wisconsin flight ZW-4047/AA-4047 had to return and make an emergency landing at Manchester Airport, Manchester, UK, on July 19th.

    The Canadair CRJ-200 en-route to Pennsylvania had to return due to a gear issue.

    The plane landed safely.

    Allegiant Air Flight Diverts to North Carolina due to Electrical Odor

    Allegiant Air flight G4-1878 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Asheville, North Carolina, on May 6th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane heading from Indianapolis, Indiana, to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was diverted after an electrical odor was noticed on-board.

    The plane landed safely. All one hundred and seventeen passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

    Where: Little Rock Arkansas
    When: May 15 2011 4:08
    Who: 136 passengers 5 crew
    Why: While en route, the pilot declared an emergency due to an engine fire, then diverted to make a safe landing in Little Rock Arkansas. Passengers were provided access to alternative flights to Washington.

    Nose Gear Fails at Barnstable Airport

    What: Cape Air/Hyannis Air Service Cessna 402C en route from Boston to Martha’s Vineyard.
    Where: Barnstable Municipal Airport HYANNIS, MA
    When: Saturday Nov 22, 8 pm
    Who: Pilot and 5 passengers
    Why: At 7:15 prior to a flyby of the airport, Pilot John Call reported to ATC that his indicator revealed a nose gear problem .

    On landing on a retracted, or not fully locked gear, the nose gear on the plane collapsed and struck the tarmac. No injuries were reported. Emergency crews were standing by

    TAP Air Portugal Flight Rejects Takeoff From Lisbon

    TAP Air Portugal flight TP-552 had to reject takeoff from Lisbon, Portugal, on May 9th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Munich, Germany, when the crew received a warning indication and rejected takeoff.

    The plane safely returned to the apron. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
