TUIfly Nordic flight 6B-873 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden, on January 19th.
The Boeing 767-300 plane was heading from Lulea, Sweden, to Krabi, Thailand, when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and decided to divert.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

An Aegean Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, on the night of June 21.
The plane, en-route from Athens, Greece to Amman, Jordan, declared emergency after the crew reported smoke coming out of cargo hold.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 60 passengers remained safe.
EL AL flight 289, en route from Tel Aviv to Venice, had to make an emergency landing in Dubrovnik, Croatia, after its first officer fell ill mid air.
The plane departed from Tel Aviv at around 6 a.m. on May 15. After about 2 hours, the first officer went to use the bathroom and upon returning, told the captain that he was not feeling well. The captain informed the first flight attendant, and was searching for the nearby airports to make an emergency landing, when the first officer passed out. A doctor who was on board among the passengers gave him medical treatment during the flight.
The captain successfully made a safe emergency landing in Dubrovnik, where the first officer was taken to a hospital.
The airline later issued a statement confirming the incident.
“El Al flight 289 from Tel Aviv to Venice, with 98 passengers on board, landed in Dubrovnik after the first officer fell ill during the flight and was unable to fulfil his duties,” maintained the airline.
Virgin Australia flight DJ-660 suffered engine issues near Canberra, Australia, on December 13th.
The plane flying from Sydney, Australia, was descending toward Canberra when the both engines temporarily rolled back one after the other.
The crew subsequently switched to manual ignition and continued for a safe landing.
According to the aviation sources, the investigation teams will successfully locate the remains of Malaysian Boeing 777-200, which was carrying 239 people and was reportedly vanished off Vietnam.
Ronald Schleede, an ex U.S. National Transportation Safety Board investigator opines that the search teams will definitely find the lost plane, as they have all the capabilities and resources to do so.
A Vietnamese coast guard commander has said that a potential fragment from the plane was found by a helicopter, 56 miles south of Vietnam’s To Chu Island. He elaborated that the fragmented might be a part of the window or emergency door.
The air search teams have also spotted two fuel sticks, at a distance of 9 miles from Vietnam’s south coast.
The investigators say that once they are able to locate the plane, the flight deck recordings as well as other instruments and physical evidences will aid in finding the reasons behind the crash.
