A United Parcel Service (UPS) plane had to make an emergency landing at Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, at around 4:40 a.m. on February 3.
Emergency was declared aboard the UPS MD80 cargo plane after the pilot reported strong fumes in the cockpit.
The plane landed uneventfully. None of the 2 people aboard was harmed.
The flight’s departure or destination is not clear at the moment.
Aerolineas Argentinas flight AR-1132 had to return and make an emergency landing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 26th.
The Airbus A340-300 plane took off for Madrid, Spain, but had to turn back due to indication of an issue with a landing gear door.

A Philippine Airlines Express flight had to return and make an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, Philippines, shortly after 7 a.m. on September 23.
The flight PR-2811, which was headed to Davao, Philippines, was returned after a problem in the aircraft’s landing gear was discovered.
The Airbus 320 landed uneventfully and no injuries were reported.
According to the initial investigation, the problem was in the nose landing gear of the aircraft.
The plane again departed for Davao shortly after 8 a.m.
A UTair Aviation Robinson R44 had two people aboard on November 22nd 2013 when it made a hard landing in Tyumen, Russia.
This information comes even before a preliminary investigation, but reports are that there was an engine malfunction.

What: Vueling Airbus A320-200 en route from Alguaire to Palma
Where: El Prat Airport Barcelona
When: Nov 12th 2010
Who: 72 passengers
Why: After takeoff from Alguaire, the flight developed a hydraulic leak. The pilot diverted to Barcelona where they were attended by rescue vehicles, and landed safely, although needing a tow from the runway. The plane was removed from service for routine repairs.
Passengers were rebooked and provided dinner; some were booked on buses for part of their trip, and Air Europe, and Air Berlin.
KLM flight KL-736 had to return and make an emergency landing in Curacao, on January 20th.
The Boeing 747-400 plane took off for Amsterdam, Netherlands, but had to turn back due to a bird strike.
The plane landed back uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.
