The Airbus A320-200 flying from Lisbon, Portugal was mid-air when it lost contact with the ATC.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.

According to District Magistrate Rajshekhar, “There was no emergency. There was a Pakistani aircraft movement, that is PAAF-854 from Rawalpindi to Lucknow which landed at 1201 hours on Sunday and departed for Chittagong at 1252 hours.”
Pakistan Air Force spokesperson confirmed the landing however, he said that the plane was en-route to Singapore for inspection.
The plane was carrying 5 military officials at the time.

Eurowings Flight Diverts to Kuwait City due to Bomb Threat
Eurowings flight 117 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on January 15th.The plane heading from Salalah, Oman, to Cologne, Germany, was diverted due to a bomb threat.
The plane landed safely. There were 299 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
The authorities confirmed that no explosives were found upon inspection.

Turkish Airlines Jet Skids Off Runway at Kathmandu Airport
A Turkish Airlines passenger jet, operating flight # TK726, skidded off the runway at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, on March 4.The accident happened in dense foggy conditions, when the Airbus A330, carrying 224 people, was coming from Istanbul, Turkey.
The plane ended up on its nose and the passengers had to use emergency slides to exit.
None of the passengers and crew members sustained serious injuries.

British Airways Flight Forced to Change Direction Due to Spanish Military Jet
British Airways flight A490 was forced to change its direction due to a Spanish military surveillance jet flying nearby in Gibraltar, on October 31. According to the authorities, the Ejército del Aire P3 aircraft, which was flying ahead of the British Airways plane, ‘suddenly reversed its direction and took another course’, entering the flight path of Airbus A320. The air traffic controllers then asked the British Airways plane, which was around 10 to 15 miles from landing in Gibraltar, to change direction in order to maintain safe distance.
According to a statement released by Gibraltar authorities on Monday, “The Government of Gibraltar is waiting for a full report on the incident, which will clarify whether the Spanish military plane made an incursion into the airspace over British Gibraltar territorial waters.”
