Transavia Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Faro

Transavia flight HV-6630 made an emergency landing in Faro, Portugal, on November 12th.

The plane heading from Funchal, Portugal, to Amsterdam, Netherlands, was diverted due to issues with the cabin pressure.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and forty-nine people aboard remained unharmed.

According to Portugal’s Defense Minister, fighter jets were also dispatched to escort the aircraft.

Air Astana Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Beja Airport

Air Astana flight KC-1388 made an emergency landing at Beja Airport, Portugal, on November 11th.

The plane took off from Alverca Airport, Portugal, but lost control shortly afterwards. The crew declared an emergency and subsequently landed safely at Beja Airport.

The airline confirmed that the plane was carrying six crew members and that there were no passengers aboard.

Portuguese Air Force had also dispatched F16 fighter jets to escort the plane.

Germania Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Faro

Germania flight ST-4911 had to return and make an emergency landing in Faro, Portugal, on June 26th.

The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Berlin, Germany, but had to turn back after heavy smoke was noticed in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. All ninety-four passengers and five crew members remained unharmed.

Transavia flight HV-5666 had to make an emergency landing in Faro, Portugal, on May 29th.

According to the airline, the plane heading from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Gran Canaria, Spain, was diverted due to ‘medical reasons’.

It is believed that the flight was diverted after a passenger’s body odor caused several other passengers around him to vomit and faint.

The plane landed safely.

TAP Air Portugal Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Italy

TAP Air Portugal flight TP-843 had to return and make an emergency landing at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Italy, on October 17th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Lisbon, Portugal, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and seventy-one passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

EasyJet flight U2-1454 had to divert for an emergency landing at Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport, France, on October 7th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Porto, Portugal, to Geneva, Switzerland, was diverted after the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and forty-one passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.
