Satena flight 9R-8729 made an emergency landing in Bogota, Colombia, on February 20th.
The plane took off from Quibdo, Colombia, but suffered tire damage during departure.
The crew continued the flight and landed uneventfully in Bogota. Emergency services inspected the plane upon arrival.
All passengers and crew members remained safe.
Air Canada flight AC8953 operated by Jazz Aviation made an emergency landing at Macdonald-Cartier International Airport in Ottawa, Canada, at around 6:30 a.m. ET on August 13.
Pilots made an emergency landing after smoke was discovered in the cabin of the plane which was heading from Fredericton, New Brunswick to Toronto.
The flight with 69 passengers and 4 crew members on board landed safely according to Ottawa Airport Authority.
Air Canada spokesperson Debra Williams said, “Passengers were moved by ground transportation into the terminal and were booked on alternate flights to their destination. We apologize to our passengers for this incident and inconvenience.”
Air Canada engineers will inspect the plane to determine the cause of the smoke.
Flybe flight BE-385 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Birmingham, England, on January 24th.
The plane heading from Southampton, England, to Dublin, Ireland, was diverted after crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Madrid, Spain, but had to turn back after a windshield cracked due to a lightning strike.
The plane landed safely. All 178 people aboard remained unharmed.
Flybe flight BE-262 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Manchester Airport, England, on November 13.
The de Havilland Dash 8-400, flying from East Midlands Airport, England, to Edinburgh, Scotland, diverted due to a cargo door indication.
The plane landed safely.
All 72 people aboard remained safe.
