American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Port of Spain Airport

American Airlines flight AA-2282 made an emergency landing in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on May 29th.

The plane took off for Miami, Florida, but had to turn back after the crew heard some unusual noise from the cargo hold and suspected somebody might be stuck inside.

The plane landed back safely.

The airline said a mechanical issue was the cause of the noise in cargo hold.

Pobeda Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Vnukovo International Airport

Pobeda Airlines flight DP-522 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, on June 6th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Rostov to Saint Petersburg, Russia, was diverted after the crew reported strange unidentifiable noise in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Why: A flight from Charlotte to Atlanta had just taken off when the plane began making unidentified noises. In about an hour after take-off, pilots returned to the airport to make a safe landing with emergency services on standby.

Passengers were provided alternative flights.
