A Ryanair flight had to divert and make an emergency landing at Limoges – Bellegarde Airport, Limoges, France, on April 28th.
The Boeing 737, en-route from Liverpool, England, to Alicante, Spain, was mid-air when two drunk men onboard began fighting, prompting the captain to divert the plane.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 180 passengers onboard remained unharmed.
The two men were taken to a nearby police station.
Jet Airways flight 9W-118 was intercepted by two fighter planes due to loss of communication on February 16.
The Boeing 777-300 plane was heading from Mumbai, India, to London, England, when it lost communication with the ATC.
Two fighter jets intercepted the aircraft and subsequently, the communication was restored.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The plane, heading from Shanghai, China, to Toronto, Canada, was diverted after it encountered severe turbulence that injured some of the passengers.
The plane was carrying 332 passengers and 19 crew members at the time; 21 of them were taken to hospitals. According to the airline, eight of them were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries while the others were taken for observation.

Why: Near Cascavel the left engine caught fire. The engine was shut down and the fire suppression system activated and put it out. However, Cascavel was closed due to low visibility, and the flight diverted to Iguassu Falls. Cascavel travelers were bussed from Iguassu Falls.
Dourados and Campo Grande passengers were provided connecting flights.
Ethiopian Airlines flight ETH-500 had to make an emergency landing at Dublin Airport, Ireland, on the morning of October 23.
