Ryanair flight FR-7312 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Frankfurt–Hahn Airport, Germany, on July 13th.
The Boeing 737-800 flying from Dublin, Ireland, to Zadar, Croatia, had to divert due to in-flight depressurization.
The plane carrying 189 people landed safely.
Around 33 passengers reported ear pain, nausea, and ear bleeding. They were treated by the medical staff aboard, while some had to be taken to hospitals.

What: Egypt Air Boeing 777-200 en route from Cairo Egypt to New York

Who: 293 passengers and 15 crew
Why: While en route, the right engine developed an oil leak, and the crew had to shut it down. The pilot diverted to Athens where the plane landed safely on a long runway. A replacement flight was dispatched.
United Airlines flight UA-801 made a safe landing at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, Texas, on September 18th.
The Airbus A319-100 flying from Houston, Texas, was about to land when the crew reported an indication of engine fire.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.

Why: While en route from Halifax, the pilots received an indication that the flaps were not performing.
The flight diverted to Trudeau airport where the plane made a safe if high-speed landing with emergency vehicles on standby.
An Air India Boeing 777 en route from Newark to Mumbai had 292 passengers and 21 crew aboard when it took off at 4:36 in the afternoon. Witnesses saw flames shooting from the left engine when flight 144 took off.
Pilots reported problems with the left engine, and twenty-two minutes after taking off, returned to land in Newark.
The landing must have been pretty hard, because tires were blown. The airport’s New Jersey spokeswoman Erica Dumas described it as a “rough landing.” Also, the left engine problems were attributed to a bird strike.
Passengers disembarked and were provided hotel accommodations while they rebooked.

Virgin Atlantic flight VS-16 made an emergency landing in Dublin, Ireland, on November 24th.
The plane heading from Orlando, Florida, to Gatwick Airport, England, was diverted after a passenger suffered a medical emergency.
The plane landed safely.
