    2 Killed in Bolivian Military Aircraft Crash

    mexicocrashA small military plane crashed in a Santa Cruz aerodrome in Bolivia, on October 15.

    The Bolivia-made Tiluchi FAB-542 was rehearsing a landing maneuver for the anniversary of the Bolivian air force when it went down.

    Authorities confirmed that 2 people aboard the aircraft, a colonel and a lieutenant, were killed in the accident.

    The cause of crash is not clear at the moment.

    Bolivian Air Force Plane Crashed in Santa Cruz; 2 Killed

    A Bolivian air force plane crashed in the suburbs of Santa Cruz city in Santa Cruz province of Bolivia on November 28.

    Authorities said the plane was on a training flight with an instructor and a trainee pilot aboard.

    It appears that the aircraft was attempting an emergency landing due to some mechanical fault when it crashed, just 30 minutes after departing from El Trompillo airfield.

    Both people aboard the plane were killed in the crash.

    The accident is under investigation.

    Pilot Killed after Helicopter Crashes on Denver Glacier, AK

    A helicopter crashed on Denver Glacier in Skagway, Alaska, on May 7th.

    Authorities said the helicopter was returning from TEMSCO’s dog camp on Juneau Icefield when it went down.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash. He was identified as Christopher Maggio, 59.

    The cause of crash is under investigation.

    Delta Airlines Plane Diverts to Colorado due to Hail Strike

    250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-1889 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Denver International Airport, Denver, Colorado, on August 7th.

    The Airbus A320-200 en-route from Boston, Massachusetts, to Salt Lake City, Utah, was mid-air when it encountered severe turbulence due to hail and lightning.

    The plane received damage to its radome, windshields and engines.

    All 119 passengers and 5 crew members onboard remained unhurt.

    Norwegian Helicopter Crash

    What: HeliTeam Eurocopter AS350 en route from Harstad to Alta.
    Where: near the Swedish border.
    When: Wednesday
    Who: One person killed, one injured. It is unclear from our sources which was the pilot.
    Why: The crash occurred during heavy snow showers so weather may have been a factor.

    UK Participating in Sita Air Accident, Nepal

    What: Sita Air Dornier 228-202 en route from Kathmandu-Tribhuvan Airport to Lukla
    Where: 500 Meters from airport
    When: Sept 28, 2012
    Who: 19 fatalities
    Update: Because seven British subjects were killed aboard the Sita Air crash on September 28, the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch will be joining the accident investigation.

    The British fatalities were named as:

    1. Raymond Eagle, 58, from Macclesfield, Cheshire
    2. Timothy Oakes, 57, from Winwick, near Warrington
    3. Stephen Holding, 60, from Stoke-on-Trent
    4. Vincent Kelly, 50, from Lostock, Bolton
    5. Darren Kelly (brother) 45 from Isle of Whithorn Southern Galloway
    6. Benjamin Ogden, 27, from London
    7. Christopher Davey, 51, from Northampton

    Nepalese authorities have a three month report deadline.
