The plane landed safely. All one hundred and eighty people aboard remained unharmed.
British Airways Plane Diverts to Iceland due to Medical Emergency
British Airways flight BA282 made an emergency landing in Reykjavik, Iceland, on May 10th.The plane, heading from Los Angeles, California, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a passenger fell sick.
The plane landed safely.
According to the airline, “The customer was taken to hospital locally and the flight continued to Heathrow after a two-hour delay.”
Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Smell of Smoke
Delta Airlines flight DL-1941 made an emergency landing in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 14th.The Boeing 757-200 plane heading from Atlanta, Georgia, to Santa Ana, California, was diverted after smell of smoke was noticed in the aft cabin.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Air Canada Flight Diverts to Calgary due to Heavy Turbulence; 21 Passengers Hospitalised
Air Canada flight AC88 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Calgary International Airport in Canada, on December 30.The plane, heading from Shanghai, China, to Toronto, Canada, was diverted after it encountered severe turbulence that injured some of the passengers.
The plane was carrying 332 passengers and 19 crew members at the time; 21 of them were taken to hospitals. According to the airline, eight of them were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries while the others were taken for observation.
AA Flight Diverts to Greensboro after Passenger Goes into Labor
American Airlines flight 611 had to make an emergency landing at Piedmont Triad International (PTI) Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, on March 12.The flight, heading from Philadelphia to Atlanta, had to be diverted after a passenger Shaniqua Cherry, of Minnesota, went into labor mid-flight.
The plane landed uneventfully at PTI airport and Cherry gave birth to a baby girl.
The flight resumed and reached Atlanta safely.
