Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-47 made an emergency landing at Dubai International Airport, United Arab Emirates, on March 25th.
The plane was flying from Chittagong, Bangladesh, when the crew noticed a hydraulic leak and declared emergency.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The Airbus A310-300 was towed to the apron.

What: Air Arabia Airbus A320-214 en route from Athens to Sharjah

Why: The crew aborted takeoff from Athens when the engine did not sound as if it were operating normally. The control panel “Full Authority Digital Engine Control’ (FADEC) warned of irregularities in the left engine.
The plane slowed with hot brakes; and a piece of the plane was found on the runway, later identified as the engine panel.
Passengers debarked without incident, and were provided a replacement plane the following day.
Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-829 made a safe landing at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Gaborone, Botswana, on November 17.
The Boeing 737-800, flying from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, was mid-air when smoke began to appear in its cabin.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
Volotea flight V7-2092 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, France, on July 21st.
The Boeing 717-200 flying from Strasbourg to Toulouse, France, had to divert due to some problem with one of its wheel.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
Cathay Pacific flight CX-37 had to return and make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, India, on October 30.
The Boeing 747-400, en-route to Heathrow Airport, London, had to make an emergency landing due to bird strike.
The plane landed uneventfully.
Everyone aboard remained safe.
Air Iceland flight NY-17 rejected take off from Isafjordur Airport in Iceland, on April 26th.
The plane was accelerating for take-off when a bird hit one of its propellers, prompting the pilots to reject take off.
The plane safely returned to the apron. All 19 passengers remained unharmed.

What: Air France Airbus A340-300 en route from Paris to Bogota
Where: Paris
When: Sep 1 2010
Why: After flying about an hour out of Paris, the plane developed an unspecified technical malfunction and had to return to Charles de Gaulle airport where it made a safe landing. Passengers were routed to an alternative flight the next day, (inconveniencing also the return passengers in Bogota.)
