An American Eagle flight returned and made an emergency landing at Sioux Falls Regional Airport, South Dakota, on November 15.
The plane took off for Chicago but had to return immediately afterwards after the pilot reported an engine problem.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 50 passengers remained safe.
The FAA is investigating.
