LC Peru flight W4-1323 made an emergency landing in Lima, Peru, on August 19th.
The plane flying from Lima, Peru, was on approach to Ayacucho, Peru, when the crew went around due to an unsafe nose gear indication.
The plane subsequently returned to Lima where it landed safely.
All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: Air Canada Airbus A320-200 en route from Toronto, Canada to El Catey Dominican Republic

Why: After takeoff, the Airbus thrust reverser malfunctioned and the crew had to return to the airport. They made a safe landing half an hour later, and passengers disembarked, eventually boarding another plane.
Finnair flight AY-1472 had to return and make an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria, on January 11th.
The plane took off for Helsinki, Finland, but had to turn back due to a cabin pressurization problem.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

What: Orenair Boeing 737-800 en route from Samara Russia to Hurghada Egypt

Why: While en route to Hurghada, the crew had to shut down an engine. They flew back to Samara and made a safe landing. Passengers debarked, and boarded an alternate Tupolev for their flight.
United Airlines flight UA-698 made an emergency landing at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, on January 1st.
The Boeing 757-300 plane flying from San Francisco, California, was on approach to Chicago when the crew reported a hydraulic issue and requested a low approach for gear inspection.
The crew performed a low approach and subsequently landed safely.
The plane stopped on the runway. No injuries were reported.
Air France flight AF-1688 was forced to divert and make an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria, on October 3.
The Airbus A319-100, en-route from Charles de Gaulle airport, France, to Bucharest Otopeni airport, Romania, had to be diverted after the crew reported a burning odor on-board.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were accommodated in other flights.
Blue Air flight 0B-4541 had to return and make an emergency landing in Alghero, Italy, on August 12th.
The Boeing 737-400 plane took off for Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Italy, but had to turn back due to a bird strike.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
