The plane took off for Hartford, Connecticut, but had to turn back due to a cracked windshield.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
An Avianca airlines flight had to return and make an emergency landing at Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José, Costa Rica, at around 2 p.m. on November 24.
The plane had just taken off for El Salvador when the pilot reported issues with one of the engines and a suspected explosion in a turbine. The authorities then advised him to return for an emergency landing.
The plane landed uneventfully. The airline later said it was a transfer flight carrying some crew members and there was no passenger in the plane at the time of incident.
The examination of aircraft showed no signs of fire however, an engine was damaged due to a bird who got stuck in a turbine.
American Airlines flight AA-1060 made an emergency landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, on November 8th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane was flying from Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the crew noticed an odor in the cockpit.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred and fifty-eight passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

Why: The American Airlines jet was en route when the left engine began running hot. Pilots shut down the engine.
A replacement MD-80 was sent with parts and mechanics aboard to repair the stranded aircraft and assist the passengers.
Pilots diverted to Boise and made a safe landing.
Turkish Airlines flight TK-679 diverted and made an emergency landing at Tunis–Carthage International Airport, Tunisia, on October 31.
The Boeing 737-900, en-route from Istanbul, Turkey, to Yaounde, Cameroon, had to divert due to some issue with its fuel pump.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
Envoy Air flight MQ-3434 had to return and make an emergency landing in Toledo, Ohio, on January 17th.
The plane took off for O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a smoke indication.
