The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Kayseri, Turkey, was on final approach to Amsterdam when the crew reported an issue with the localizer and went around.
The plane subsequently landed safely on second approach. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Why: Near Cascavel the left engine caught fire. The engine was shut down and the fire suppression system activated and put it out. However, Cascavel was closed due to low visibility, and the flight diverted to Iguassu Falls. Cascavel travelers were bussed from Iguassu Falls.
Dourados and Campo Grande passengers were provided connecting flights.
Alaska Airlines flight AS-1 made an emergency landing at Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia, on February 15.
The Boeing 737-800, heading from Washington, D.C, to Seattle, was diverted mid-air after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.
The plane landed safely.
All people on board remained unhurt.
